Membership
Membership renewals are due on 1 November each year. Please ensure you have renewed by November 1st to retain your HRCAV insurance cover. The HRCAV insurance scheme provides personal accident and public liability insurance and you can find out more here. GDARC Membership Types for 2025-26 (see below for price and breakdown)
Prices are determined by the GDARC Committee. You can find out how we set our prices here. GDARC Conditions of Membership - Annual Volunteer Contribution GDARC is entirely run by volunteers and all members are required to contribute at least 6 hours of their time over the membership year to help with the running of our club or the HRCAV (e.g. judging). This may include helping at competitions, harrowing the arenas, fundraising activities, working bees, committee or project roles. GDARC reserves the right to reject Membership for the following year if this contribution is not completed. Chaff Chat The online version of Chaff Chat, the HRCAV monthly magazine, is available to all members free of charge. The hard copy magazine is $120 for the annual subscription available from the HRCAV online shop here.

Day Memberships
If you would like to come along to one of our rallies and experience the club before joining, you can join as a Day Member when you book in for the rally via EventSecretary. The fee for Day Membership is $30, which is the amount we pay to the HRCAV to cover your insurance. You are entitled to 1 Day Membership per HRCAV year, 1 November to 31 October. To join as a Day Member, please notify our Membership Officer by email [email protected] which rally you would like to join. Ensure you book for the rally by the closing date and, under "Rider Registrations", check the "Day Insurance" box. $30 will be added to your rally booking. Please complete the HRCAV Day Membership form - which you can access from the EventSecretary booking form - and email it to our our Membership Officer [email protected] before riding at the rally. |
